In Neurolucida Explorer, every structure in a file is identified as an "object."
You can also modify your selections:
You can select objects from the Data list window.
The data list is broken down according to a hierarchical organization. A "+" sign next to each category or subcategory in a list indicates that there are other items contained within the category or subcategory.
If you are viewing a tracing composed of several sections, or a single section containing contours within other contours, use Select Objects in 3D Contours.
To select objects in 3D contour:
Neurolucida Explorer is unique in that you can choose how you would like to show that given objects are selected. There are two graphical cues to indicate when an object is selected:
